The Digital Marketing Officer, Influencers will support an influencer and peer-to-peer marketing program for Action Against Hunger to increase brand awareness, generate leads, and drive revenue. This includes coordinating influencer content creation, distribution, and campaign optimization based on platform, partner-type, and messaging. In addition, they will facilitate the execution of Action Against Hunger’s peer-to-peer fundraising program -- supporting and stewarding peer-to-peer fundraisers. The Digital Marketing Officer, Influencers works closely with the Donor Marketing Team, Digital Team, Communications, Corporate Partnerships, and other departmental, interdepartmental, and international colleagues on helping to support influencer and peer-to-peer relationships and coordinating a performant and data-driven influencer marketing program. 

Purpose: Increase revenue, brand awareness, external communication, and user engagement by coordinating the organization’s influencer marketing and peer-to-peer fundraising. 

Engagement: Reports to the Digital Lead and works closely with the Donor Marketing Team, Digital Team, Communications, Corporate Partnerships and other departmental, interdepartmental, and international colleagues.  Works directly with influencers and peer to peer fundraisers to support their campaigns and align them with Action Against Hunger’s mission and practices. 

Delivery:. Facilitate the setup and smooth execution of influencer and peer to peer fundraising campaigns and communication to relevant stakeholders. 


Key activities in your role will include

Execute:  

  • Execute on activities and outcomes for a full-funnel influencer marketing strategy for Action Against Hunger in coordination with an external agency, with a focus on driving revenue while increasing brand awareness and user engagement.  
  • Support strategy to acquire, retain, and upgrade Peer to Peer fundraisers and sponsors

Collaborate:  

  • Collaborate with Donor Retention team on stewardship for influencers and peer-to-peer donors. 

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute integrated marketing campaigns across paid and organic channels. 

Report: 

  • Create reports on effectiveness of influencer marketing and peer-to-peer fundraising campaigns to the Action Against Hunger team.  

Vendor Management: 

  • Act as point of contact for external digital agencies working on influencer marketing and peer-to-peer fundraising. 

  • Work with agency to capture their insights and analysis into influencer and peer-to-peer performance and compile learnings with the team. 

Relationship Management: 

  • Primary liaison and point of contact for all influencers and peer-to-peer fundraisers working with Action Against Hunger.  

  • Establish and foster positive, trusted relationships with existing and prospective influencers.  

  • Provide meaningful and curated stewardship for peer-to-peer fundraisers that inspires and motivates increased giving and participation over time. 

  • Act as liaison between influencers and peer-to-peer fundraisers and other key members of Action Against Hunger team, including Communications and Corporate Partnerships. 

Content Creation: 

  • Participate in influencer and peer-to-peer content creation, distribution, messaging, and campaign optimization based on platform, partner-type, and messaging. 

  • Develop, distribute, and update influencer marketing and peer-to-peer fundraising toolkits covering appropriate messaging, branding, premade social post frameworks, and assets for influencers and peer-to-peer fundraisers. 

  • Create, maintain, and update influencer and peer-to-peer web presence and third-party platform accounts such as Streamlabs, Twitch, and Facebook in coordination with digital team. 

  • Be the point person for all user-generated content initiatives across the team, providing messaging guidance, oversight, and best practices.

Do you meet the profile required criteria?

Required Qualifications  

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred 

Required Skills & Experience  

  • 3-4 years of related work experience.  

  • Familiarity with influencer marketing and strategy and/or digital fundraising/nonprofit experience is a plus.  

  • Analytical and data-driven with a strong background in performance marketing metrics. 

  • Strong vendor management expertise.  

  • Ability to work well with people from different backgrounds and build those professional relationships. 

  • Proven organizational and project management skills.   

  • Creative thinker with excellent problem-solving skills and a real “can do” attitude.   

  • Experience working with external talent agencies, talent agents, and directly with talent to secure partnerships, negotiating contracts a plus. 

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and be flexible and able to juggle multiple projects concurrently. 

  • Knowledge and hands?on experience with online fundraising platforms like Funraise or Classy and CRMs like Salesforce or Raiser’s Edge preferred. 

  • Experience or familiarity with data analytics a plus. 

  • Effective communication skills. 

  • Interest in Action Against Hunger’s mission.

Gross annual starting salary : $65,000 - $70,000
